After studying economics at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Peter Herrmann held various management positions at Deutsche Lufthansa and IBM, amongst others in the management board of DVO GmbH, a part of IBM, and as head of IBM Global Services Eastern Europe.

After his time as CEO of Systematics and as a member of the board of EDS Germany, he was responsible Chief Executive for the German organization of LogicaCMG. In May 2006, Peter Herrmann became Managing Director of iSOFT Health Germany. Since March 2008 he is Managing Director of iSOFT´s RBU Continental Europe, which also includes RBU iSOFT Netherlands. Being chairman of the German Club of Health Economy (cdgw), Peter Herrmann campaigns for the intense dialogue between health economy enterprises and the policy.
