Alan joined 3M in mid-1970 and moved into marketing within the Photographic Division. He became Marketing Manager for Medical Imaging at 3M, later Imation; also working in Health Imaging sales at Kodak, in global marketing at  Ferrania  and recently for Agfa HealthCare as Regional Marketing /QARA Manager. Alan left to set up a Marcoms and Events business in 2009.

He joined iSOFT as Marketing Director in March 2010 and leads a team of dedicated marketing professionals focused on supporting sales activities and helping deliver the Company's objectives across the NEMEA region.

Alan’s limited spare time is spent in sports administration at Eversley. He is a Fellow of the British Institute of Radiology and is still an active member of the Industry, Health Informatics and IHE Committees.
