Taking the effort out of MHRA compliance
Do you verify your back ups?
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is an executive agency of the Department of Health, responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work effectively and are safe.
As you’ll already know, the MHRA’s Blood Safety and Quality Regulations apply to all blood establishments and hospital blood banks, and include requirements for quality system to be implemented in all blood establishments and hospital blood banks, as well as record-keeping requirements within healthcare organisations that receive blood and blood components.
Did you know?
It is requirement of the MHRA Hospital blood bank compliance survey that your data is backed up and verified. Sites that do not back up and verify their data will have to develop a detailed action plan to remedy this deficit.
Let us do the work.
we can take the effort out of ensuring MHRA compliance through our simple yet very effective tape verification service, which confirms that a LIMS system can be restored from the trust’s back-up tapes.
Working with a trusted third party company, we will visit your site and verify the integrity of the data held on your tapes and issue a certificate if the data can be verified.
By taking up this service, you can be assured of being able to answer ‘yes’ in next March’s compliance survey.
