In June 2010, University Hospital of Morecambe Bay, NHS Foundation Trust became the first acute Trust in England to go live with Lorenzo Release 1.9. 3,500 staff across five hospitals are now using the system.

Soon Morecambe Bay will also become the first acute Trust in England to use Lorenzo in an Emergency Department setting as their two Emergency Departments at Furness General Hospital and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary start using the system.
